The goal of WaterNet, the NASA Water Cycle Solutions Network, is to improve and optimize the sustained ability of water cycle researchers, stakeholders, organizations and networks to interact, identify, harness, and extend NASA research results to augment decision support tools and meet national needs. This is done by establishing collaborations and interoperability with existing networks and nodes of research organizations, operational agencies, science communities, and private industry. To this end, several WaterNet demonstration projects have been established to illustrate this interaction. These demonstration projects are both national (Example: Salt River Project Water Supply Forecast Modernization) and international (Example: Slovenian Civil Engineering Department, University of Ljubljana project) in scope.WaterNet: The NASA Water Cycle Solutions Demonstration Projects
